Index & NewsWritingWebcomicsProgrammingArtworkAll Else

Suggestions on anything are welcome. Quick and obvious changes can often be implemented immediately, more involved go onto the list to be considered when I have spare time.
Mistakes and updates to the list are very welcome. Not only to I make typos, but I have a history of creating bad links and updating either the list or my bookmarks without fixing both. Changes in a comic's update schedule are less important, I usually get around to those on my own. Especially give a poke if I have the URL wrong, I've mistakenly marked comics as dead before when the URL changed without much fanfare.
Where I can be found: I use jms_blkfox@yahoo.com for my public e-mail (warning: this account is heavily spam-filtered). 233509951 will reach my via ICQ. My LJ contains a lot of junk, but if you filter the tags by "programming" or "webcomics" that should get down to the relevant posts (also if Xepher mysteriously dies, that's the best bet). If you want more obscure locations, I'm BlackFox on CMC and OmegaBF on Firetop Mountain and show up in #mkguild @ irc.menagerie.tf here and there.

Creative Stuff
Dimar

The online novel Dimar: Lost Waters and other works by Dee Dreslough
Metamor Keep
A collection of stories sharing timeline and setting, much of it is very good.
Classic Cat
A good source of recorded (non-hideous-MIDI) classical music

Programming Resources
Vim

What results when you keep improving the best text editor.
Dev-C++
I've went through several C/C++ IDEs, and this one turned out the best so far.
Allegro
A great library for graphics/sound. I ditched OpenGL for this.
Perl
By far the best language for messing with strings and data files.
Python
An annoying language, but I keep finding nifty features.

Free Games of note
CardMaster Conflict

A good CCG-type game that I play a lot (4000+ games). Many of the cards are also based off of various webcomics.
Cave Story / Doukutsu Monogatari
Secret weapons, a secret level, multiple endings...
ADOM
Imagine Angband, only with a plot and replay value.
Lost Labyrinth
A quick rogue-like game.

Funny Stuff
BOFH

The classic
Capitol Steps
Pretty good political parodies.
